How to Update a Conversion Factor

A conversion factor turns a pile's volume into weight, in your account's units.

On a Measurement

Each measurement shows the Conversion Factor it was calculated with. If a past measurement needs a different factor, contact support.

Select Admin , then Products .
Open the product's actions menu and select View / Edit , then select Edit Product .
Enter the new Conversion Factor and a Conversion Factor Justification , then select Save .

Select Admin , Sites , open the site, go to Custom Conversion Factors , and select + New Conversion Factor .

A new conversion factor applies to measurements processed after the change. Past measurements keep the weight they were calculated with.
