How to Manage Your Products

Manage your products from Admin , Products . Products is available to group accounts with a Business subscription.

Add a Product

1. Select Admin , then Products .
2. Select + New Product .
3. Enter the Product Name and Product Code .
4. To set a conversion factor, select Add a Conversion Factor for This Product , then enter the Conversion Factor and a Conversion Factor Justification . Units follow your account's measurement settings.
5. Select Create .

Edit a Product

1. Select Admin , then Products .
2. Open the product's actions menu and select View / Edit , then select Edit Product .
3. Change the fields you need, then select Save . Once a product has measurement attempts, only its conversion factor can be changed.

A new conversion factor applies to measurements processed after the change. Past measurements keep the weight they were calculated with.

Site-Specific Conversion Factors

To use a different conversion factor for a product at one site, select Admin , Sites , open the site, go to Custom Conversion Factors , and select + New Conversion Factor .

Deactivate, Activate, or Delete a Product

Use the product's actions menu to Deactivate , Activate , or Delete it. Delete cannot be undone. Turn on Show inactive to see deactivated products.
