How to Measure a Pile Against a Wall (One-Sided Bunker)

A pile against a single wall is measured as a One-Sided bunker in SR Measure.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Before you measure, set up the pile: its Storage Type is Bunker , and its bunker's Bunker Type is One-Sided . Bunkers are available to group accounts with a Business subscription.
  2. Make sure the bunker's dimensions are entered. The app uses the Wall Height .
  3. Open the pile in SR Measure and tap Measure Pile .
  4. Stand where the diagram on screen shows, with a clear view of the wall and the pile, then tap Start .
  5. Follow the diagram on screen. When the wall is highlighted, aim at it and tap; it turns green when done. Walk as the diagram shows, keeping the pile in frame, and follow the Look up at the bunker and Look down at the bunker prompts.
  6. Wait while the app shows Computing your pile volume. Keep the app open.
  7. Review your volume and outline, then tap Save .
