How to Measure a 3-Sided Bunker Pile

With SR Measure you can easily perform measurements on material in a 3-Sided Bunker configuration where three sides are enclosed and one side is open.

Overview

3-Sided Bunker piles are commonly used in aggregate, ready-mix concrete, and materials handling operations. Three walls contain the pile while one side remains open for loading and unloading.

Measurement Instructions

1. Open SR Measure and select New Measurement
2. Choose Bunker type
3. Select 3-Sided configuration
4. Position yourself at the open face of the bunker with clear visibility
5. Follow on-screen guidance to walk the measurement path
6. Ensure all three walls and the open face remain in view
7. Walk the complete perimeter as instructed
8. Tap to confirm each wall measurement
9. Wait for processing to complete
10. Save your measurement

Tips for Accuracy

• Maintain consistent distance from the bunker
• Keep the phone level during measurements
• Ensure good lighting on all walls
• Avoid obstructions between camera and pile
• Walk at a steady, deliberate pace
