How To Measure a 2-Sided Bunker Pile

With SR Measure you can easily perform an inventory measurement of material in a 2-Sided Bunker configuration.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Before you measure, set up the pile: its Storage Type is Bunker , and its bunker's Bunker Type is Two-Sided . Bunkers are available to group accounts with a Business subscription.
Make sure the bunker's dimensions are entered. The app uses the Wall Height .
Open the pile in SR Measure and tap Measure Pile .
Stand at the front end of the left wall, with a clear view of the walls and the open front, then tap Start .
Follow the diagram on screen. When a wall is highlighted, aim at it and tap; it turns green when done. Walk as the diagram shows, keeping the pile in frame, and follow the Look up at the bunker and Look down at the bunker prompts.
Wait while the app shows Computing your pile volume. Keep the app open.
Review your volume and outline, then tap Save .

Keep a steady pace and hold the phone level; stay a safe, consistent distance from the pile.
Make sure walls and pile edges stay visible; avoid trucks, loaders, or people blocking the view.
Bright sun or glare? Shade the lens with your hand or adjust your angle so the camera sees contrast.
