Freestanding stockpiles are material piles without walls or bunkers containing them. These are common in many industries including landscaping, aggregate, ready-mix concrete, and asphalt operations.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps to measure a freestanding stockpile:

1. Open SR Measure and select New Measurement
2. Choose Stockpile as the measurement type
3. Select Freestanding from the available options
4. Position yourself with a clear view of the entire pile perimeter
5. Follow the on-screen prompts and walk around the pile base
6. Maintain the pile in frame during the complete measurement walk
7. Return to your starting point to complete the perimeter capture
8. Allow the app to process the measurement data
9. Review your volume and outline results
10. Save the measurement to your account
