What Drone and App Should You Use?

Self-service aerial measurements need an approved drone and a mission-based flight app. The list below is from the Stockpile Reports flight specifications.

Approved Drones

• DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise, Thermal, or Multispectral (not Cine, Classic, or Pro models). Turn dewarping off in settings.
• DJI Air 2S
• DJI Phantom 3 Pro or Phantom 4 series (no RTK or smart controllers)
• DJI Inspire 1 or 2 with X3, X4S, X5, or X5S cameras and default DJI lenses
• DJI Mavic 2 Pro
• DJI Mini 2

Flight App

Stockpile Reports recommends Map Pilot Pro for creating flight missions. Other mission-based apps can work if they meet the flight specifications. The Mavic 3 Enterprise must use the DJI Pilot 2 app.

SR Measure is the phone app for measuring piles from the ground; it does not fly drones. Upload drone images in the web application from Aerials , Upload Images .
