Uploading Self-Service Drone Images to Stockpile Reports

After completing a self-service drone flight, follow the steps below to upload your images so Stockpile Reports can process your measurements.

Upload Process

In the Stockpile Reports web application, select Aerials in the header. Aerials requires a group account with a Business subscription and Drone Measurements, which is standard on Business 200+ and available on smaller Business subscriptions with approval. If you do not see Aerials, contact support.
On the Aerials page, scroll down to the Self Service Aerials section.
Select Upload Images .
On the UAV Imagery uploader page, set the following:
- Site: select the site where you flew the drone. If your account uses organizations, choose the Hierarchy first.
- Choose Generate StockPile Measurements and site image (the default) or Only generate a site image .
- Optional Notes: add details about the flight, location, or conditions.
- Check I confirmed that I followed the flight specifications . This box is required. Use the PDF link next to it to review the specifications.
Drag your images onto the upload area, or click it to select them.
Select Submit . The page shows how many images have uploaded. Keep the computer awake until the upload finishes. If an upload is interrupted, select all the images again and the uploader picks up where it left off.

Before uploading, make sure:

All images are JPEG files. The uploader does not accept other formats, and one non-JPEG file stops the whole selection.
The images come straight from the drone, with their GPS location and camera details intact. Images without them are rejected.
The images were taken at the site you select. The uploader checks the images' location against the site.
You have copied the images from the drone's memory card to your computer, with one folder for each flight.
