Winter Workshops

We had the opportunity to meet with many members of state aggregates associations this past week. Stockpile Reports are proud members of:

• ARPA, the Arizona Rock Products Association. ARPA represents companies producing nearly all the aggregate materials in the State of Arizona.
• TACA, the Texas Aggregates & Concrete Association (TACA). TACA members represent 80% of the aggregates, 100% of the cement, and 75% of the concrete produced in Texas today.
• IMAA, The Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association, which represents over 90% of aggregate production in Indiana.
• WACA, (which is closer to our home base) is the Washington’s Aggregates and Concrete Association. WACA membership is always working toward new environmental, land use and community solutions, to promote a cooperative relationship with the Washington citizens and communities.
• NSSGA , the National Sand, Stone & Gravel Association. The NSSGA is the world’s largest mining association by volume and represents the construction aggregates industry
• SME, the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration. SME is dedicated to be the premier professional society for the worldwide mining and mineral community.
• A SPAR Point Group active participant, which organizes conferences and provides news and information for professionals involved in 3D imaging technologies.

Maury, Richard and David recently attended workshops and mixers in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Washington. They met local aggregates members and demonstrated our stockpile measurement solution while there. Everyone enjoyed the hospitality of the chapter members and learned more about industry challenges and accomplishments from event presentations. Stockpile Reports will continue traveling to various events and workshops— be sure to check out our schedule.
