Every Pile, Any Time™
Stockpile Reports is an Enterprise SaaS platform that helps customers eliminate write-offs in bulk materials using an automated, scalable, controlled process to achieve accurate inventory in financial statements.
Stockpiles are digitized using imagery from iPhones and Stockpile Reports’ app, SR Measure, and drones or installed cameras using automated data integrations.
Stockpile Reports and SR Measure’s image processing is powered by EveryPoint™, an intelligent software service that continuously replicates real-world assets.
Our Commitment to Innovation
In 2012, Stockpile Reports identified that the bulk materials ecosystem lacked accurate data and was dependent on highly manual processes, with zero visibility to inventory values and financial exposure to catastrophic inventory write-offs due to the lack of controls over inventory estimates. Further, the operational efficiencies available to other industries through automation were lacking as the construction and bulk materials sectors were significantly under digitized due to the challenges of tracking raw goods at various stages of the supply chain and production cycle.
Using image processing and its proprietary computer vision technology, Stockpile Reports set out to digitize the bulk materials inventory. Beginning in 2014 with the reconstruction of stockpiles using an iPhone, Stockpile Reports has an automated, scalable process that provides customers efficiency at scale and independent, reliable inventory measurements for financial statements. In the automated workflow, images are converted into verified inventory reports using Stockpile Reports’ proprietary algorithms which score measurements based on identified conditions and surface coverage and provide a 3D visualization of every pile of those risks.
Even before drones became the mainstay for efficient collection of imagery for large enterprises, Stockpile Reports expanded its platform with data integrations to support automated flight scheduling and aerial data set processing of complex sites. For example, Stockpile Reports algorithms leverage a patented technique to automatically identify the ground, pile, and toe region that separates the two, and establish pile boundaries. From this pile toe and ground identification, our algorithms automatically fit a ground surface that is deformed to match the shape of the ground around the pile, providing consistent inventory measurements.
Today, Stockpile Reports helps hundreds of customers across dozens of industries solve business problems related to bulk materials with on-demand measurement of stockpiled material via imagery from phones, aerial platforms, and installed cameras.
