Preparing Your Account for Full-Service Aerials

Before scheduling Full-Service Aerial measurements for your company, make sure your account is fully configured. You’ll need to add required information such as your site details, contacts, and boundaries so the flight team can locate and process your aerial survey. Information Required Before Scheduling Each site must include: Setting Up Your Account Follow the instructions below for each site prior to scheduling a Full-Service Aerial measurement. The pilot will call the site contact 24-48 hours before the scheduled flight to coordinate arrival procedures. Multiple failed attempts from the pilot to reach site contact(s) may result in a missed flight. Please ensure site contacts communicate with the pilot and respond to any This will be a single outline. This is NOT the tool you use to tell us which piles you want measured. Flights ARE completed as a single continuous flight. So, if you have different areas of your site with piles on them, the site boundary should encompass the entire area. Consider if future piles will end up falling outside of this site boundary. Expand the single site boundary to the area that will include pile storage expansion areas in future flights.

Tagging Piles for Measurement (Full-Service Aerials)

This article explains how to use the Pile Tagging tool to identify which piles you want measured after a full service drone flight is uploaded. Tag Piles Measured by Drone Tag products on a site-wide image map prior to the results being generated. This step takes 15 minutes or less. Recurrent flights of a site will already have a majority of the piles auto-tagged with the correct product based off the previous flight. You will only need to confirm that the product tags are still accurate. The steps below will cover how to access the pile tagging screen, label products, and pile tagging best practices. Access the Pile Tagging Tool If you’ve opted in to alerts, you’ll receive an email when your aerial is ready for pile tagging. Pile Tagging Interface Site and flight date are displayed at the top of the screen. At the top center of the map is a Hand Tool and a Draw Tool. The hand allows you to pan around the map, move the pile outline vertices, and bring up the pile tag dialog box. Viewing Your Full-Service Aerial Reports

After you’ve completed the process of tagging your piles for measurements, our system will process the 3D data from your flight images and generate the pile measurements.
